Kia Ora!

Allow me to share one of the coolest farm experiences ever! This is something the kids will absolutely love—and honestly, the adults (like me hehe) will enjoy it just as much. 😄

From the parking area to Reception, there’s a bit of a walk, but don’t worry—the views along the way are stunning. Based on our experience, the Reception staff could be a bit more welcoming with smiles and clearer instructions, as we got slightly lost due to a very brief introduction (less than a minute!). Thankfully, all of that was quickly forgotten once the fantastic sheep show at the dome began—it was so entertaining!

Pro Tip: If the host asks for a volunteer, put your hand up immediately. Trust me—it’s going to be awesome.

One of my favorite moments was getting to feed the baby sheep (Watch it HERE)! They’re so tiny, and their fur feels like an over-loved stuffed toy. Absolutely adorable.

After the show, you’re guided to hop onto an open-sided farm bus (tractor trailer!), where you can sit back and relax as they take you around the massive farm. Along the way, you’ll get to feed the sheep, play with the alpacas (yes, really!), and visit other farm animals too.

Pro tip: Don’t wear white shoes! While they do provide shoe spray at the end of the tour, I highly recommend wearing dark-colored footwear—especially if Agrodome is just one stop on a busy day.

Overall, it was a fantastic and memorable experience.

On our way out, we passed by Rotorua Velocity Valley, which immediately piqued my interest. I’ve decided that’s next on my list!

If THIS LINK works, it means I’ve already tried it and posted a blog about it too.

If not—stay tuned and see you on my next travel adventure!
