Kirau Park is one of Rotorua’s hidden delights — a beautiful, free public park with plenty of parking, a relaxing geothermal foot soak (yes, free!), and stunning views. Located just a few minutes from the town centre, it’s easily accessible for both locals and visitors. The park transforms beautifully with each season, and here are some of my favorite photos from Autumn 2025.
I hope to update this blog with photos from Summer, Spring, and Winter soon. It doesn’t snow in Rotorua — though it would be lovely to see the park blanketed in white! Still, the colours here during Spring are absolutely stunning.
